Notes from the Venice Film Festival

This post is about two months late, but in September I attended the Venice Film Festival and now have two published articles to show for it:

Voyage of Mine – on Terence Malick’s Voyage of Time, Wim Wender’s Les Beaux Jours d’Aranjuez (The Beautiful Days of Aranjuez), and critical reception

Aural Extremes: Sculpting Noise – on sound in Zombi, Maudite Poutine (Shambles), & Spira Mirabilus (Miraculous Spiral)

While you’re at it, check out my buddy Tobi’s article, Co-Authorship on Tom Ford’s Nocturnal Animals and a restoration of John Ford’s The Brat.

Stay tuned for upcoming articles from last month’s Film Fest Gent! Here is a list of everything I saw while there.
